A few weeks ago, these started popping up on almost every beauty blog I'm following on Bloglovin,
and obviously I was intrigued, and when I finally found them in my local drugstore, I picked up four shades, 'Berry Much', 'Minimalist', 'Nude Perfection' and 'Red Essential'.
For me, the bold shades are clearly the winners here, I've been wearing 'Red Essential' to death around Christmas, and 'Berry Much' has claimed the pole position when it comes to bold everyday lips.
The Nudes however, are not that up my street, 'Minimalist' has a slight shimmer to it, which I don't find to be very flattering at all, so I mostly tend to apply it on my upper lip first over a thin layer of lipbalm, press my lips together and then blend with my fingers.
I'm sure that a lot of Kylie Jenner obsessed people would love 'Nude Perfection', it's definitely more on the brownish side of things, but a bit more toned down than K's signature lip.
Quality wise a lot of people tend to compare these with the Nars lip pencils, which I never tried myself so I can't really tell you my opinion on that, but what I can tell you is that I really really like these, they're pigmented, go on smoothly and don't turn my lips into pruns, even though I 'd recommend to wear a thin layer of lipbalm underneath, especially if your lips are a bit on the dryer side of things.
